Every student is encouraged to visit website for application and scholarship information. There are many scholarships available for continuing students as well as incoming freshmen. Typical scholarship application deadlines for the following academic year are mid-January for incoming freshman and mid-March for continuing students.
There are several William H. Greaves Scholarships available to students majoring in Physics, Pre-Engineering, or Engineering Technology. These scholarships are academically competitive and provide financial assistance for in-state or out-of-state applicants. Greaves scholars often participate in undergraduate research.

This endowment was established in honor of Jonathan Bushee, a former associate professor of geology at NKU. This scholarship is available to degree-seeking students who have declared a major in geology and display financial need as determined by FAFSA. Incoming and continuing students are eligible. Incoming students must have a minimum 23 ACT score, continuing students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester. The scholarship is for one academic year. Previous recipients may apply. The award amount varies each year.
The Sanzere scholarship is available to students who have declared a major in geology and have a minimum 3.00 GPA. This scholarship is for one academic year, excluding summer sessions. Previous receipience may apply. The award amount may vary each year.
The Heather Bullen Memorial Scholarship is available to students who have earned 90 or more credit hours (equivalent to senior standing) and are majoring in a STEM field. Preference will be given to first generation college students. Award amount varies each year. This scholarship is for one academic year, excluding summer sessions.
The CINSAM scholarship is available to incoming freshman declaring a major in the following STEM disciplines: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Data Science, Electronics Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, Geology, Mathematics, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Neuroscience, Physics, Pre-Engineering, or Statistics. Students must have a 3.0 or higher high school GPA and score a 22 ACT mathematics or 540 SAT Mathematics or higher. This award is for $3000 towards tuition, books, and/or housing based on need. This scholarship is renewable.
The Greaves scholarship was established to encourage outstanding undergraduate students in the fields of science, mathematics, computer science, and engineering technology. This scholarship is available for first-time freshman. Students must have an ACT score of 25 or higher and rank in the top 25% of their high school class. This scholarship covers full in-state tuition and books. This scholarship is renewable.
