The Black Studies program, Black and Brown Educators of Excellence and the College of Education are proud to collaborate with 2892 Miles To Go, a place-based education program supported by National Geographic Society to host a two-day symposium focused on the intersection of African American Geography and History. The programming will reveal little known histories of the past to invite a more inclusive future.

 

Other speakers will include Dr. Eric Jackson (NKU), Craig Rush (CPS), Alundra Childs (Northwest Local Schools), Jennifer Williams (NKU Grad Student) and Ashley Lamb-Sinclair (National Geographic Explorer). The program host will be Aleah Hordges of Local 12 News.
