The Ed & Betty Foster Endowed Scholarship provides support for students who have declared History as their major.

Both incoming students and continuing students are eligible for this scholarship:

• All students must: (1) be a declared History major; and (2) be a resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• In addition, incoming student requirements include: (1) admission to NKU; (2) a minimum 23 ACT score; and (3) a high school graduation GPA in the top 25% of their graduating class.
• In addition, continuing student requirements include: (1) being enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester hours during the award period; and (2) a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

The amount of the scholarship varies. It is awarded for one academic year, excluding summer sessions.

The Dean's Scholarship is open to continuing students who have declared a major and completed 60 credit hours, of which 30 hours must have been completed at NKU. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

The Mark R. Herrmann Scholarship is presented each year to a deserving undergraduate History major. This scholarship was established through the generosity of Mrs. Dorothy Herrmann in memory of her son.

To be eligible, a student must: (1) be enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester hours during the semester of application; (2) have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25; (3) be a declared history major with junior standing (minimum 61 credit hours); and (4) have at least 30 credit hours completed at NKU.

The amount of the scholarship varies. It is awarded for one academic year, excluding summer sessions.

The Sadie Brown Scholarship provides support for students who have declared a minor in Women's and Gender Studies.

Both incoming students and continuing students are eligible for this scholarship, with preference given to female applicants:

• All students must be a declared Women's and Gender Studies minor.
• In addition, incoming student requirements include: (1) admission to NKU; and (2) a minimum 23 ACT score.
• In addition, continuing student requirements include: (1) being enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester hours during the award period; and (2) a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
