I am excited to honor so many of our faculty and staff through our awards program. The innovative ways that you teach and care for our students is a major factor in them not only passing your courses but finishing their degrees and finding employment. We are privileged to have faculty and staff at NKU who are truly invested in our students and in the mission of the university. Student success isn’t just a slogan here, it’s something that everyone who works here believes in and works toward.
Those we are honoring have done really tremendous work in the classroom, in support of their units and the university, in research and scholarship, promoting inclusive excellence, and in many other categories. It is only a shame that we cannot honor all those who are doing important and committed work. In truth, there are so many more that we could recognize and award if we had unlimited time and resources. However, I hope you will see that all those receiving honors have made special contributions to NKU, and I am privileged to recognize them.
