Jennifer has over 30 years of experience as a public health nurse, administrator and Director of Clinical Services at the Northern Kentucky Health Department (NKHD). After retiring from NKHD in May 2018, she began her new career as nursing faculty at NKU's School of Nursing (SON), teaching Community/Public Health nursing in the classroom and the field. In 2019, she was chosen to be the Director of the Nurse Advocacy Center for the Underserved (NACU), a non-profit collaborative between NKU's School of Nursing and numerous community agencies. Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, she is an NKU alumnus receiving her ADN and BSN degrees. Jennifer is passionate about bringing access to care for those that need it the most in our community. She believes that giving future nurses the ability to care for the underserved in their communities touches on the core values of the nursing profession and teaches students the importance of community health.
